Team Terror was a competitive FPS clan. We retired from competition in 2011 when the North American Urban Terror scene lost critical mass. Our main game was Urban Terror. We also had a division that competed in Project Reality

History

The team that would eventually be named Team Terror effectively began in 2003 when new leaders were tasked with running a clan called Partners In Terror when the previous leaders retired. Over the next four years, the team developed into the group of players who changed their name to Team Terror in 2007. At that time we were in full swing running two divisions, one for Urban Terror and one for Project Reality, and we were running the league for Project Reality.

We continued to compete in Project Reality until its clan scene died off a year later, and in Urban Terror until 2011 when the North American Urban Terror scene lost critical mass.

A few of us went on to compete in related 1-off teams like Terroristas, but mainly in clan pnk until North American Urban Terror competition died completely at the end of 2012.

Clans always have player turnover, as people's gaming interests and activity change over time. So for some of the players in this great old clan, the team may only represent to them 2007 Project Reality, or 2004 Urban Terror in PIT, or 2006-2008 Urban Terror competition under both names, or FTW league Urban Terror, etc.

Regardless, over the course of the team's history, we:

• competed in ~700 matches
• competed in Urban Terror 2.3 through 4.1 in all of the leagues and ladders (OGL, STA, TWL, FTW, STF, UrtLA) in all of the game modes
• ran and competed in the Project Reality league
• competed in Battlefield 2 infantry and combined arms
• created the FTW league (with co-creators) and were a part of a larger group of volunteers who ran it over the years
• ran 3 seasons of the international 1v1 tournament and helped run a 4th at FTW
• were heavily involved in the community including clan scrims, forums, irc, leagues, mapping, map competitions, QA and game features, modding, and pugbot; we were a significant part of Urban Terror
